Comeback Season

Built by a licensed clinical supervisor with 15+ years in behavioral health and a former Division I athlete, the program translates real clinical expertise into training that's credible to coaches and practical to deliver — whether for a single team, a full district, or statewide rollout.

  • Meets all six content domains required under Colorado's Alyssa's Act, including trauma, substance use, and suicide prevention

  • Offered in three formats — a 1-hour Core Course, a 4-hour Extended Clinic, and a 2-3 day Facilitator Certification — so schools and organizations can choose the depth that fits their needs

  • Developed and led by a Colorado-licensed clinician qualified to provide clinical supervision under the state's Mental Health Sunset Act

  • Grounded in lived experience as a former Division I football player, not just clinical theory

  • Designed to scale statewide through a facilitator-certification track that trains other licensed clinicians to deliver the program

WHY COLORADO CLINICAL CONSULTANTS

  • Clinical depth: Corey G. Cox, MA, LPC, LAC, has 15+ years as a licensed clinician and is qualified under Colorado's Mental Health Sunset Act to provide clinical supervision, having completed 21 hours of supervisor-specific training (Supervisor I and Supervisor II) in addition to the required post-degree clinical experience.

  • Lived experience: A former Division I football player (Tulsa, Kent State) who has lived locker-room culture and the “push through it” mindset this law is designed to interrupt.

  • Supervision capacity: As a qualified clinical supervisor, able to train and oversee other licensed facilitators — the mechanism that lets this curriculum scale across many coaches and schools statewide, not just one classroom at a time.
